Sydney Radio Producer Jana Hocking “Loves To Have A Wolf Whistle”
Only one radio producer has made a “shameless confession” that she secretly likes to be hissed at a wolf and to be “objectified”.
Jana Hocking, 36, from Sydney, explained why a good old-fashioned wolf whistle should be seen as a cheeky compliment.
âI love to be objectified. Now, before we pull out the pitchforks and yell at me for letting down the female tribe, let’s all take a deep breath and think about this for a second, âsaid radio producer Triple M. news.com.au.
âHave you ever had a day where you feel bloated, bloated, and generally blaaaaah. Then you go for a coffee and the barista takes your order while looking at your chest, or that guy on the road walks past you and boldly gives you the old up and down.
âI don’t know about you, but it cheers me up. “
Jana Hocking (pictured), 36, from Sydney, has made a ‘shameless confession’ that she secretly loves to have a wolf hissed and to be ‘objectified’
She explained why she considers a good ol ‘hissing wolf to be a cheeky compliment, especially when she’s having a bad day.
To back up her statement, Jana praised Absolutely Fabulous actress Joanna Lumley for saying in a 2016 interview that the wolf’s hiss was a “compliment.”
“How can the wolf’s whistle be offensive to women?” It’s a compliment, they say “Cor. You look good honey” What’s wrong with that? ‘ Lumley said at the time.
âWe were harder in the ’60s. You knew someone would whistle in the street and you weren’t insulted. We have become more sensitive flowers nowadays, people are very offended by everything. ‘
The statement comes just months after Jana shared her worst Tinder date ever, which involved a man inviting all of his conquests to a house party “like The Bachelor.”
She called Tinder the “fishiest” online dating app after meeting a narcissistic man a few years ago.
“He had just moved into a chic new apartment and clearly wanted to show off,” she told FEMAIL in September.
“I was meeting his friends for the first time, but it turns out I was meeting the other girls he was dating as well.”
In support of her statement, Jana praised Absolutely Fabulous actress Joanna Lumley for saying in a 2016 interview that the wolf’s hiss was a “compliment”
She described how everyone sat in her living room and got to know each other when a girl casually mentioned that she was dating him.
âThen another girl said to me, ‘wait, I’m dating him too’ and I just went straight to the bedroom to get my bag,â Jana said.
“He came over to me and I told him about the other two girls and he panicked, followed me up the stairs as I left telling me not to go but I was out of there.”
Over the next few days, the man – who had acted like he was a contestant for The Bachelor – texted, called, and apologized to Jana for what had happened.
âBut once a player always a player. Such a jerk, âshe said.
